Start Up Check List


Since I'm going to be out of town the week of 4/3, I wanted to get this out early.


I'm going to send you this information twice and have it on the Wiki at http://collaborativelearning.pbwiki.com/StartUpCheckList. Note: the Wiki is still in progress.


One message will come from the Yahoo Discussion Group. This message will include instructions on subscribing to the private group. Please do so as soon as you can to make sure that you are able to get and receive messages through that system. It will be the primary tool I use for communicating in the course.


One message I will send directly using my akarrer@techempower.com email address. If you get this message and do not get the Yahoo Discussion Group message, then please send an email to: Collab201-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and cc me on that message: akarrer@techempower.com. We will need to diagnose why you didn't get the message from Yahoo Groups.


Task 1 - Complete the Survey


You should have received a survey from me (through Survey Monkey). Please notify me if you are getting this message and did not receive a link to the survey. I think I've already tracked down the couple of people who have not yet responded.


By the way - the class meetings will remain Tuesdays at 4PM Pacific as all other times had at least two people with conflicts.


We will talk about other survey results at the first meeting.
