Project Plan

This is a brief description of our team project plan.

Title: Leadership Development Exercise

Goal: In order to help us all visualize the use of these tools to solve a real world training problem, we are creating a short scenario based discussion interaction focused on leadership development.

High Level Design: Learners will use web pages, a wiki and a blog to research, discuss and make a choice on how to proceed with regards to a specific management decision. The learning activity will follow the following process.

  1. Scenario – A leadership in sales force management scenario will be outlined in a wiki. This scenario will set up the situation and give learners 2 different choices on how to proceed.
  2. Research – The wiki will include links to information web pages to allow learners to gather information for their decision.
  3. Discuss – A blog will be established for learners to discuss the pros and cons of each choice. Each learner will be asked to make at least one post discussing the pros and / or cons of each choice.
  4. Decide – Each learner will make their own individual choice as to how to proceed. They will edit the wiki indicating their final choice and the reasoning behind it.

Tasks:

Jennifer – establish and design (layout the screen) the wiki

Darryl – establish the blog and post learner instructions

Carrie – write up the scenario and identify web links for research

Greg – write project summary plan
